Everything people ask
What do you offer?
We replace, install and repair windows and doors for homes and businesses: every common window style, bays and bows, vinyl, fiberglass, wood and aluminum frames, energy-efficient and impact glass, full-frame and insert installs, and entry, patio, French, storm and interior doors. Every service has its own page.
How do I get a price?
Fill in the form on any page, or call or text 800-224-9245. Tell us roughly how many windows or doors you have, what bothers you most and any style you like, and send a photo if you can. We measure and send a written, itemized estimate.
When should I replace my windows?
Common signs are drafts, fog between the panes, windows that stick or will not stay open, rotted or warped frames, water stains, rising energy bills and street noise. Our Repair-or-Replace Check helps you sort repair from replacement.
Will new windows really lower my energy bills?
They can, especially over old single-pane or leaky windows, but savings depend on your house, climate and habits. Our Glass Lab gives a rough, honest comparison, and we do not promise specific savings.
How long does installation take?
Many homes take a day or two for a handful of windows and a few days for a whole house, plus the lead time for made-to-order units. Our Window Counter estimates the days for your house.
Do you offer custom sizes and shapes?
Yes. Every unit is built to your measurements, and arched, round and other specialty shapes can be made to fit.
What is the difference between full-frame and insert replacement?
An insert slides a new window into the existing frame and keeps your trim. Full-frame removes the frame too, so rot and leaks can be repaired and new flashing and insulation installed.
Which frame material is best?
Vinyl is low-maintenance and good value, fiberglass is strong and stable, wood and clad wood bring warmth and detail, and aluminum suits slim frames and coastal homes. We compare them for your home and budget.
What glass should I choose?
It depends on your climate and which way each wall faces. Low-E glass helps almost everywhere, triple-pane shines in cold climates and low solar heat gain glass helps hot, sunny walls. Our Sun Dial shows what each wall needs.
Can you replace doors too?
Yes. We install entry, patio and sliding, French, storm, interior and custom doors, and we can match hardware and trim.
Do you work on commercial properties and HOAs?
Yes. We plan commercial, multifamily, HOA and property-manager projects in phases around your schedule, with a clear written scope.
Will you protect my home and clean up?
Yes. We cover floors and furniture, work one opening at a time, finish the trim and haul away the old windows.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. We provide detailed, no-obligation estimates for window and door replacement.
Where do you work?
We serve homes and businesses in cities across the country, and every city has its own page under Service Areas. If your address is not listed, call or text 800-224-9245 and we will tell you what is possible.
